As a Catholic school, we invite all students into the Catholic story to learn about the life of Jesus Christ. This includes learning in Religious Education lessons, Mass, prayer liturgies, daily prayer, sacraments and action for social and eco justice.
Our senior students participate in an annual Retreat to explore and deepen their understanding of spirituality.
Each year all classes gather together to celebrate the main events in the life of Jesus – Ash Wednesday, Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas.
We work in partnership with parents and the Elizabeth Catholic Parish to prepare students to celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation.
We want to make a positive difference in our world. Our actions include helping those in need locally and globally by supporting outreach programs such as:
She travelled with Jesus and became one of his disciples. The Gospels tell how Mary led a small group of women, to the burial place of Jesus. She was the first person to witness the Resurrection.
Mary is remembered as the First Witness to the Resurrection and Apostle to the Apostles. She also gives our school its name, and our identity: strong, leading and inclusive.
Mary's Feast Day is celebrated on 22 July.
